This was probably one of the best weeks to go to Mountain High since the whole weekend it was raining in the city.

Funny Face

This is probably one of the many funny faces my brother does. He is just one of those kids who shows so many face expressions in his pictures. He just can't take a simple picture of him smiling. But this picture was captured at Catalina Islands. He is making this face because my mom told him to suck in his tummy ahaha but he couldn't suck it in and smile at the same time.

"Social Closure and Processes of Race/Sex Employment Discrimination” is a research on race and gender inequalities.  Discrimination is described as race and gender inequality; social closure; harassment; mobility; hiring. Race and sex discrimination cases show that process of social closure impact exclusion, mobility, and harassment on the job.  This basically talks about how race and gender still exist in todays society. They also show how there has been studies by researchers over the past twenty years that most concede with human capital deficits may account for some outcome differences.

“The Badness of Discrimination” basically just talks about the different types of discrimination. It also just talks about how bad discrimination is because it is considered to be morally wrong and also very controversial. Discrimination is also considered wrong when it harms others  or disrespects others

Haha my so called "Special Talents"

March 9!

March 9 was one of the hottest days since I can remember. So what I decided to do was go to the beach. I didn't want to go in the water because it wasn't that hot that the water would be refreshing, it would just be cold. So some friends and I decided to go play volleyball all day. The next morning when I woke up I was in so much pain i could't even move. Every muscle on  my body was sore!

I  thought this was so adorable because the mice are making fun of him. I find it hilarious because they start laughing a little and by the end of the strip they are cracking up to the point that they are on the floor.

This comic strip made me laugh so much. I found it so funny and cute because Charles looks so tired but he woke up to feed Gil. Charles is also hungry so he is eating while his half asleep. The kids reaction is just like "wow really" because he was probably expecting to get some real food.

This is one of my favorite pieces of artwork done by Karl Kerschl. I love the land view, it is such a beautiful sight. But in this strip I feel so bad for Charles because he looks so tired. I would hate it if someone woke me up just to tell me to go cook for them.
